A Manhattan mom and her daughter are suing the city and the Department of
Education after an East 25th Street high school dumped hundreds of
confidential student records onto the street last year.

The School for the Physical City filled a Dumpster with 15 cardboard boxes
full of private records last September as it got ready to move to a new
space on West 14th Street.

A tipster alerted Connie Click and her teen daughter, Skylar, to the data
dump when it happened, and the pair, who live nearby, arrived with a
shopping cart to collect Skylar's records.

The records included psychological evaluations, report cards and other
papers with the girl's Social Security and telephone numbers and address.

The Clicks filed their Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit last week, seeking
unspecified damages.
