Thanks to a crappy mail system out there (Microsoft based, go figure), and
the wonderful shodiness of majordomo, the list has been flooded with
duplicate posts that got passed on from the outside as legitimate traffic.
Instead of bouncing mail with appropriate warnings like any sane MTA, a
system at rr.com essentially passed the mail back without altering any
headers (as best I can tell). As a result, majordomo saw it as mail from
us and posted it to the list.

We blocked the system from sending us ANY mail a few days ago, but these
had already reached the mail queue apparently. Now, we have 27,000 pieces
of mail being processed on the system and we are working to resolve it.

This is the third time we've seen this happen now. merck.com, satx.rr.com
and singnet.com.sg are all guilty of this so far.
