Hi all,
I'm working on a diy home project and I need to figure out what are the
pin-outs -> wire diagragm for the Cisco Aironet 340 Bridges? When I opened
up the cable, I noticed 3 cables : white, black, green. Previous experience
tells me that because it's DC the white should be positive, the black of
course, common, and the green should be ground. Here's where it's
strange... in a DC system, I've never seen a big ground. Also, the power
transformer doesn't even have a grounding pin for the wall receptacle.
Should I figure out what's going on w/ this new (to me) wiring scheme, I
should be able to formulate a sort of home-brew power-over-ethernet device.
Of course, when I figure out what's going on, I'll post my findings here.
Thanks,
Wyness G. Casama
