Hi
I have seen a new tool 'iwlist' which are used to get signal data from
nearby access points. I saw some email that it can be used to get signal
data using the aironet driver. Anyone knows how to use it?
However, I have orinoco card (Thinking of buying an aironet if I have no
choice). I wander whether this tool can be used
with Orinoco (hermes) driver? I tried it and the error says
"eth0 Interface doesn't have a list of Access Points"
Where is the list of APs stored?
I used Wireless Tools version 23, kernel 2.4.6, firmware Lucent version
7.28, Orinoco 0.06c.
Thanks in advance.
