    Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 configured as a dual boot -- Windows 98
and Red Hat 7.0 (2.2.16 kernel).

I am trying to get wireless to work under linux ... all is well under
Windows 98. The laptop has a built-in mini PCMCIA card (?) which I
understand is essentially a Lucent Orinico type card. I also have an
additional Silver Orinoco card. I would like to make either of these work
at this time. I have heard rumors that I will not succeed with the built-in
    card.

I have recently downloaded, compiled, and installed the 3.1.25 pcmcia
drivers from sourceforge. It seemed to go very smoothly.

    In my configuration, I also have a Linksys wireless AP/router (BEFW11S4). I
applied a patch to wvlan_cs that I found which was related to the Linksys.
The Linksys is in turn connected to a cable modem.

It looks like it's close to working, but just not there. I'm a bit new to
this, and do not know any more debugging steps to take. I really appreciate
    help in any form.

Below are relevant files and logs: (eth1 = mini, eth2 = silver)

One thing to note: if i do ping -I eth1 192.168.1.1, I will get some
results as long as the box is still "wired" (e.g. eth0). If I unplug the
    wire, then I get nothing.
