I am needing to install two Orinoco wireless cards into a linux box, one will be setup to be as a Peer to Peer network and the other one to connect to an access point. I believe I have heard of companies that have done this before but I run into trouble at the very beginning. Just to work my way up I've started with 1 card setup as a Peer to Peer network and a network card which is connected to the network and internet. From there I can get the Peer to Peer network to connect up just fine and I can ping the wireless card in the linux box from another computer but cannot ping the network card. I am guessing this has to do with the fact that the 802.11 firmware does not allow forwarding of any mac address except its own so then that leads me back to believe that this can't be done but I know of a company that has done this. I'm I missing something or am I just going about setting this up wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
