hmm, the d-link gear I have I bought at harvey norman, and I assume they still
sell it, when I bought it back in january or so, it cost $369 for the DWL-650
pcmcia card alone, and $469 for the DWL-500 pci<->pcmcia bridge with a DWL-650
card, this stuff works in linux (sort of) with the wvlan_cs driver.
No idea about access points as I dont use one.
