    Apparently the Lucent cards are in fact based on the Prism II chipset,
    but they have a rather different firmware from many of the Prism II
    based cards making them appear somewhat different.

    I believe the MAC controller also has common ancestry with the
    Hermes/Prism II chipset, but has quite a few differences.
