I'm trying to get linux-wlan-ng 0.1.7 to work on Linux 2.4.0 on a PowerBook
G3 (PPC). There was one unresolved symbol, kfree_s which seem to not exist
anymore on Linux 2.4. I faithfully replaced these calls with kfree() but get
a kernel panic when I insert my Farallon Skyline 11mb card (Prism2 chipset).

I'd like to help debugging this but a few questions come to mind:

    - is the module fully compatible with Linux 2.4.0 ? If not, where can I find
a patch that will restore compatibility?
    - the kernel panic says that insmod has properly loaded the module, and that
init_module was called and prism2 recognized, but after that it went nuts.
How can I provide useful information?
    - finally, is this supposed to work at all ? :-)

Note: I uncommented the CONFIG_PPC line in wlan_compat.h, as explained in
the header, for Linux on PPC.
