The PCMCIA-PCI adapters that come with products like the Addtron, Linksys, Eumitcom will not work with the current linux-wlan-ng-0.1.7 distribution. This is because these adapters don't look like PCMCIA subsystems and just map the wlan cards into the PCI address space.
We ended up purchasing a seperate pci-pcmcia adapter:
