Unfortunately the drivers don't load -- it doesn't get that far.
For some reason -- bus timing, lack of memory resources -- the card
is at best mis-identified, at worst not identified. The symptoms
(being identified as anonymous memory) are caused by timing issues
or incorrect memory mapping. Having tried every memory range I could
think of or find, I think it may be timing. The PCMCIA Howto says
that this is the case in some instances.

Thanks for the link. This tells me that even if I do get the card
identified, there will still be a bit of work to go though.
