We're currently using Maxtech's XWL411s for our access points and have a
few customers that are in the 10-13 mile zone. Since they're so far out,
we had to set the acktime setting to 1000usec. If we don't, the
connection larts itself at about 300Kbps because when the latency
increases, the AP starts to think the packets are getting lost and resends
everything 2-3 times.
I was just wondering if there is any similar setting in the linux-wlan-ng
driver or if it handles the acks some other way. Is anyone using the
driver with a connection over 10 miles?
Thanks,
-Kristian
