Lets add a little reason here. Intersil is a semiconductor company. They
sell chips and provide services for companies that _buy_ chips.
They'll lavish attention on their customers (companies who buy chips). If
you're not a customer, you're going to have a hard time getting any
attention.
Oh yeah, buying 1, 2, or 10 chipsets (i.e. cards) doesn't qualify someone
as a customer. Intersil has a hard enough time supporting customers who
buy thousands of chipsets
I'm not trying to discourage you from trying. Just trying to give you
some sense of Intersil's position.
