I appologize for reposting this message, but I just spend a couple of
hours going through our mail from the past few months to see who have
tried to subscribe to the old majordomo list manager. Those individuals
have now been added to our announce list and I now ask them to read the
    message below.

I have also modified the linux-wlan.org page to link to the new list
server. Unfortunately, I've still seen a few requests come in for
majordomoabsoval.com since then, and we currently have no control over
absoval.com (a combination of an ISP who no longer exists and Netdork
Sol--er, Network Solutions, taking months to change our administrative
    contact for the domain).

Welcome to the new Linux-WLAN list server at Absolute Value Systems,
    Inc.

Your name was obtained from the previous list server E-mail subscription
listing and you have been subscribed to _only_ this _low-traffic_
"announcement" list. If you did not wish to be subscribed to this list,
we appologize for our mistake in advance. You can either unsubscribe at
the URL below (using the password that was sent to you in another
E-mail), or by contacting us directly. If you wish to subscribe to the
new lists for developers and/or users, which now replace the previously
existing (and defunct) lists, respectively, please do so at the URL
below or, again, by contacting us directly.

    Linux-WLAN List home page:
      http://lists.linux-wlan.com/mailman/listinfo

    Lists and brief description
      linux-wlan-announce * Announcement List (low-traffic, moderated)
      linux-wlan-devel Developer List (subscriber-only posting)
linux-wlan-user End-User Support List (main list)

    [ * This list ]

All mailing lists are archived and available via web browser at:
      http://lists.linux-wlan.com/pipermail/

We will shortly be reintroducing all the old archives into
Mailman/Pipermail pages, as well as introducing a web-based search
engine for them (let alone "pretty up" the web site). We have not yet
updated the main linux-wlan.org page yet to reflect our new mailing list
server, so please do not follow the information provided there. Goto
    lists.linux-wlan.com instead.

Your patience during our approximately 3 months of downtime and
continued patience as we get our new server "up-n-running" is greatly
    appreciated.

P.S. Please don't shoot the messenger. I just started last week.
