    SUBSCRIPTION NOTICE

If you are subscribed to LINUX-WLAN-DEVEL or LINUX-WLAN-USER, I have
implemented a cronjob to periodically subscribe those who are not also
subscribed to LINUX-WLAN-ANNOUNCE. I am doing this to make sure all
announcements reach everyone and to prevent any cc'ing to the other two
lists on any announcements (which is redundant for most subscribers).

If anyone feels there are _any_ an issue with this, feel free to
follow-up with me. If you're not sure, please bring it up -- otherwise,
someone else may not. From my viewpoint as the list admin, the
    following issues are non-issues ...

SPAM -- All posts to LINUX-WLAN-ANNOUNCE must be manually approved so
there should be a 0% chance of SPAM.

TRAFFIC -- There is virtually no traffic on this list other than a few a
month, maximum. If you are on either DEVEL or USER, you are, by far,
getting many more postings. Also, I removed the digest option from
LINUX-WLAN-ANNOUNCE because it is redundant. If you were a digest
subscriber, you are now a regular subscriber and will get announcements
as they come in, which is, again, never more than a few a month (as you
    may have noticed).

COMMERCIALIZATION -- It is the [unofficial] policy (because I have
stated it before, although I'm not in a position to do so ;-) of
AbsoluteValue Systems, Inc. to not use the current lists.linux-wlan.com
lists for any commercial/marketing purposes, only
technical/informational. [ I'm sure we feel there is enough interest
for an AVS product/services announcement list, we might add a separate
list, but not this one and we wouldn't be batch subscribing people from
    these non-commercial lists. ]

Again, if anyone feels I have overlooked a concern here, please feel
free to bring it up with me. I'm not here to set "policy" and want to
make sure I'm doing things in the best interest of all subscribers.

    Thanx in advance ...
