Very good question! :-)

pcsc-perl-1.0.3 was available on linuxnet for a few months now.

I sent a new version (1.0.7) _yesterday_ to David.

You can get it [1] in the Software -> Middleware -> (second) Previous Release
Middleware (maybe this last section name is not aproriate). You will also find a
package called pcsc-tools [2] with some (powerfull) tools using the Perl API.

I also plan to package them for Debian.
