Sorry about the OT stuff, but in the interest of interoperability....
My business partner has been using OpenOffice for document generation.
He says it opens MS Powerpoint presentations flawlessly. Even
animations and embedded spreadsheets import fine.
Perhaps you can use OpenOffice to store or convert your powerpoint
presentations.
