    I don't think the idea was to change the name MUSCLE,
    which we all know and use, but the words represented
    by the letter 'L' and possibly 'E'.

    Movement for the Use of Smart Cards in a Looney Environment
    Movement for the Use of Smart Cards in a Lipstick Economy
    Movement for the Use of Smart Cards in a Languid Ecosphere
    Movement for the Use of Smart Cards by Llama's and Emu's

    etc...

    So the acronym remains, while the linux specific nature
    is removed.
