    ISO 7816 part 4 Annex B: Transportation of APDU messages by T=1. 7816 part 3
    has the basic definition of T=1 (beware: this is not a complete state
    machine, as some of the error conditions lead nowhere).

    But I can't help you with any code, unfortunately.
