    You can sometimes get a free reader from your bank if you have American
    Express or VISA.

    The Todos Argos Mini is less than 16 euro in quantity, but I'm told it can
    be hard to buy just one or two. There is also a USB version now but I don't
    know what that costs.

    Cheapest USB reader I've seen is the Smart Mouse Pad, US $7 at CompUSA. I
    don't have it working yet. It's got a 40 pin dip inside that might be a
    microprocessor.

    Cheapest readily available MUSCLE supported reader I know of is the
    Towitoko. They have been coming down in price, and I think they're around
    30 euro now.
