    Hello,

I would like to announce the release and change of the MuscleCard section
of the website. MuscleCard 1.0 was released today:

    http://www.musclecard.com/musclecard/index.html

This describes the MuscleCard stack and strategy. An updated version of
XCard and the PAM module are currently available. SSH will come early
next week. XCard uses the MuscleCard capabilities and adapts itself to
the token inserted by only allowing capabilities supported by the card.
Updated documentation is on the site. MuscleCard is a clearly independant
architecture for smartcards and tokens which fits below the PKCS-11, CDSA,
and CAPI architectures to allow easy pluggable architecture for tokens.

Token plugins are in the form of bundles. This gives them the ability to
be a single unit distributed for multiple platforms. Cards are identified
both by ATR and by a single test in the plugin. Each bundle file is
capable of aliasing so one bundle could host a bunch of OEM's of cards.

Future versions of the framework will be uploaded to the site maintaining
    the same API and behavior.

    Best Regards,
    Dave
