    Hello everybody!

I'm interested in developing an application with a
smart card thar requires the implementation of some
    functions inside the card.

An important part of this project needs to be very
efficient (speed and size) so I would like to program
it in assembly and may be some parts in C.
(No bytecodes, MEL or anything interpretated please)

I haven't found any SC that allows you to program it
in this languages and that has available development
tools to compile, assemble, simulate and load your
    programs.

At this point I don't care too much about the
particular type of microcontroller or microprocessor
    but I prefer a 8-bit cisc.

Could you tell me where I can find a SC with this
characteristics, and the the development tools?

I'm a student from a developing country and this is an
educational project so all not so expensive solutions
are welcome. I wouldn't need more than 10 cards.

All your comments, experiences and suggestions will be
very useful to me, thanks for your advice.
