Cool... I didn't know of this project... I have some of these 'smartcards'
at home, unused...
I also have PIC based 'smartcards'. They're fine too.

They are pretty expensive, you have to search and find the best shop for
this. In Paris, the shop I go to is called 'Compopyrenees'.
