In the root of the CD, you should find a file called ReleaseNotes.txt.
Mine reads:

                           Release Notes 3.0 Build 037
                          GemXpresso RAD III Environment

You need to have installed the JDK v1.2.2 (do not use 1.3 as there are
issues with the converter from Sun on later versions of the JDK). If you
go in the Unix folder and open INSTALL.TXT to read the installation
instructions.

All Linux software does not come in rpms :). The .bin files in the Unix
folder are self-extracting shell scripts. You should get a GUI to help
you through the installation procedure.
