I have worked the original ifd-gempc-0.6.4 to handle the two readers I have
(the readers came with the credit card accounts)
FirstUSA serial reader "GCR412 FirstUSA"
American Express usb reader "GCR435"
Though the setup is kind of silly at the moment, I just copied over GCR410 &
GCR430 to new directories and changed all the relevant 410/430s to 412/435
and so the card readers I have might work.
Is any one else interested in these? (it still has all the 410 and 430 stuff
too :)
The current layout is not optimized just copied. I did not work to have the
"make depend" stuff work for the 412 as I am unclear how this is supposed to
work.
I have tried reading the ATR of the three cards I have DOD-CAC, FirstUSA
visa, American Express
and I get what appear to be correct results from either non-daemon mode or
the pcsc_scan program.
I have not yet figured out how to find out what these cards are though.
The FirstUSA card says GEMPLUS 8-00 30028926(H) in the upper right and
4085-02-040-00 in lower right near a pad icon.
Both readers produce the same ATR values :) which I regard as the best test
I can do until I figure out what I can do with these cards.
CAC ATR: 3B 7D 11 00 00 00 31 80 71 8E 64 86 D6 01 00 81 90 00
FUSA ATR: 3B 6E 00 00 80 31 80 65 B0 03 01 01 5E 83 00 00 90 00
AMEX ATR: 3B 6D 00 FF 00 31 80 71 8E 64 48 D5 02 00 82 90 00
