    I hope not.

My sales contact assured me multiple times that it does support Linux.
The proof is in the pudding however. So far, it seems it does not
    anymore.

    that would be helpful. thanks.

    no problemo.

If Linux support is dropped, I likely will return immediately. My sales
contact assured me multiple times (I continued to asked "are you sure it
supports Linux") that it would suit my needs.

nope, not a long-term option. especially since I spent so much $ on the
kit. It should at least suit my needs. I don't have continuing access
to any MS Windows systems. Solaris *maybe*, Linux absolutely, Windows
    hardly.

I suppose this would be an option although I wouldn't feel too
comfortable hacking something together that may or may not work. Again,
considering the pricetag, I doubt I want to chance getting a broken
development system by settling for less.

I was contacted by a support person who also assured me it worked and
that I should look for the 'UNIX' directory - as you did. We'll see how
    it pans out.

    thanks again,

    I'll keep everyone posted.
