I'm using the GPR400 and GPK4000 (modified ?) from the IBM Smart Card
Security Kit. I'm at the point where I can load certificates and keys
onto the card with pkcs15-init however operations beyond that seems to
fail (signing MD5 hash, PAM, SSH). For example, PAM:
in /etc/pam.d/login
auth sufficient /usr/local/lib/security/pam_opensc.so
login results in the following:
monitor login: lizard
Using card reader Gemplus GPR400 Reader 0 0
Enter PIN8 [Security Officer PIN]:
iso7816.c:103:iso7816_check_sw: Unknown SWs; SW1=11, SW2=40
card-gpk.c:1180:gpk_set_security_env: Card returned error: Card command
failed
sec.c:68:sc_set_security_env: returning with: Card command failed
pkcs15-sec.c:409:sc_pkcs15_compute_signature: sc_set_security_env()
failed: Card
command failed
sc_pkcs15_compute_signature: Card command failed

Any suggestions would be much appreciated !
Thanks,
James
