Hello.

The SLE4442 is a memory card which acts as a synchronous communication card within ISO 7816, however there are some smart card readers which work with these cards masking their behaviour as asyncronous T=0 Smart Cards, this way both OCF and PC/SC 1.00 may be used, without any vendor specific command. A sample of this, is our LTC31 and LTC32 USB Smart Card Readers.

  I don't have success with the Siemens card SLE4442, because it's a passive card, don't response to ATR. The OCF and the PC/SC don't support this type of card. In my work I used a API proprietary of ACS, to control de card.
