I have tried the Identity Alliance Client Middleware for Java Cards, but
Thunderbird always crashes (with module IDAP11.dll).

So, I checked out the current CVS version of libmusclecard, pcsclite and
PKCS11 and compiled all three modules. After I was finished with the
compilation and my nerves were all on the edge to do this I was rewarded
with the same crash like in the IDAP11.dll

The crash happens in line 55 of file p11_general.c

I do not know the reason(Anybody does?). It seems to be a ordinary OR.
My solution was to try to set the Threaded parameter in the file
pkcs11rc to TRUE. So Thunderbird does not crash.

Maybe a similar way would help the IDAP11.dll module. A parameter change
in the file pkcs11rc was at the first try not enough.

By the way: If I want to uninstall the Identity Alliance Middleware the
uninstall in System->Software complains about the missing
Windows->Installer->Identity Alliance MW Setup.msi

And the installation of Identity Alliance Middleware also installs parts
of the AppletLoaderClient. But so this one is not functional.

If somebody would be interested in my compiled dlls, I could offer it at
an Internet location.
