Hi all. I'm trying to get the subject reader working with pcscd
1.2.9-beta6-1 (debian).

I tried the DeLaRue serial driver which is apparently compatible, but
with no luck. I kept getting errors trying to power up the card. I
fiddled a bit with the driver, but it doesn't seem complete. The return
codes to a heap of functions aren't initialised, so it returns random
stuff, and it's from 1998 and I think implemented the idfhandler 1 API.
Using this driver, pcsc_scan from pcsc-tools doesn't show any readers.

I gave up and started developing a idfhandler 2 driver for this reader,
using mostly code straight from the DeLaRue driver. With this driver as
it is now, pcsc_scan sees the reader, but reports an unresponsive card.
Looking in the driver, I see when IFDHPowerICC is called to power on the
card, the driver sends { 0, 0x60, 0, 0, 0 }, and gets a response of {
0x90, 0xFF}, which it interprets as a response timeout.

I get this same result with the two types of card I have available. One
is a blank goldcard, the other is a Schlumberger 3K multiflex card.

What's the problem:

- These cards aren't compatible?

- I'm sending the wrong commands?

- There's something wrong with the reader?

And does anyone know where to find documentation on the command set (0,
0x60, 0, 0, 0 ...).

Any help will be greatly appreciated. If I get this driver going. I will
make it available, with the docs I've gathered together.

Thanks.
