There were some path problems, luckily I could fix them.

It works with the above setting. Thanks :).

I've got one more question. How do we test the hardware after installing
the driver. I've got a "CHERRY" keyboard with integrated Smart card
reader with GemPC 410 chipset. In windows there is a diagnostic tool
available to test whether the card reader is working or not.

How can we do this in Linux.
