Hi Marco,

Athena's usb drivers starting from version 1.9 call usb_reset() when the reader is closed.

Since they work well on Linux 2.6, it is clearly not a driver problem.

yep, tested with 2.6. it works.
while i contact athena, do you (or someone else) have a copy of a
working driver in a 2.4 kernel?
