Hi,
My system is actually have one processor with Hyper Threading
enabled(Intel Pentium 4).
I have Disabled Hyper Threading in the BIOS settings.
Then I have removed the package named "kernel-smp-2.6.8.1.12mdk-1-1mdk".
And rebooted the system.
Then I ran "pcscd -f -d stdout".
This is the complete out put when I run pcscd.

I've installed pcsclite(libpcsclite.*) in /usr/local/lib.
I've added PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig and
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
I'm assuming my pcsc-lite installation is correct, as when I run pcscd,
I'm getting information from card.
Still ./testpcsc is giving me the same problem.( RPC transport error).
What else could be the problem?.
Kindly let me know.
Cheers,
Naveen.

Can you try to boot with a single processor (use a non SMP kernel) to
see if that corrects the bugs?

No. Unless you want to use a musclecard.
