Ok, I got openssl built from that source. It appears that the only file
in this whole business linked with openssl is libmusclepkcs11.
Unfortunately, when I rebuilt it linked to libcrypto.so.0 from openssl
0.9.6, I get the same result. (The ActiveCard Gold libraries don't seem
to use openssl at all, at least not dynamically linked.) I'm going to
keep tinkering, because with xcard working (I even used it to verify my
PIN), I know I'm close.
