Hi,
This is a general question regarding S/MIME using certificates on the smart
card to the members on the list. I am using mozilla/sea monkey mail for
sending signed/encrypted mails and muscle pkcs#11 for interfacing smart
cards.
Q1: If I have sent a singed mail to <B> using certificate on my smart card,
can B would be able to reply me with an encrypted mail as he would have been
received my certificate/public key in the signed mail?
Note: If the answer is Yes, I would say that B is not able to send me an
encrypted mail as he is not able to select the certificate for encryption
(The encryption setting is disabled in his account's security settings).
Q2: Is Smart Card log in required for sending encrypted only emails?
Any comments are welcome...
Thanks,
-Harsh
