Yes.

use: "make uninstall" in the same directory you used to do "make install"

The other files should have been already overwritten.
Note that starting with ccid version 1.3.8 the library is just called
libccid.so without the release version number. So the problem you
describe is already solved but for a different reason:
1.3.8 - 27 June 2008, Ludovic Rousseau
- do not include the release number in the Info.plist to avoid a
diff of a configuration file when upgrading the package.
