Hi,
I have now received documentation from the vendor as to the communications
required. It can be downloaded from
http://www.marian-aldenhoevel.de/tmp/V4KU-01.zip
The device is recognized as a HID and has a custom-looking API based on
that. There is no Windows-PC/SC driver, nor is there any Linux-support.
A Windows-DLL is available that encapsulates the HID-stuff, but that is
of course of no use to me in the current application.
So the bottom line is: Unless you have suggestions on how to adapt any
of the other drivers to this device I am going to request a different
reader. Especially as a prototype appliance is due in September.
Ciao, MM
