Hello,
I want to know if ccid drivers allow to communicate with the smartcard
readers trough an emulation of the rs232 serial interface.
I use applications that use phoenix mode, and requires a device like
/dev/ttyS0 or /dev/ttyUSB0 .
I actually already have a infinity phoenix usb smartcard reader that I use
with some applications, but I need a second card reader and planned to buy
one that was supported by the driver ccid, but I am not sure this will work,
since I don't understand really how it's working.
I want to use applications like gbox, sc, newcs, wich help to watch paying
cable channels with my subscriber card, however if CCID is a new interface
and protocol I am not sure this applications could interact through ccid
driver.
Maybe they need to have code that support libccid ?
Regards,
Mirak
