You were talking about USB mouse and keyboard.
Now you are talking about USB printers?

No, pcscd should not interfere with USB printers or anything that is
not a USB smart card reader supported by a driver.
Unless you changed a PCSC driver configuration to recognize your USB
printer as supported by the driver.
