Subject: Restore from parallel device
Hi All,
I have been following the Tutorial whihc downloaded from the website. I
created a parallel backup as described. I then stopped the server, deleted
one of the data volumes (to recreate a disk crash) and then tried to
restore.
I selected "Restore from Medium"
Recreated the parallel medium group, and recreated the parallel media
within.
When I then select the medium group and hit restore - the database seems to
read data from the media, but then it asks for the the first of the media
from the medium group, no matter whether or not I enter the first or second
media from the media group, the database just returns a -3004 Duplicate
Volume error?
I am able to restore first one media, and then the other and get a
consistant database, but it would seem to me that restoring from the
parallel device should work?
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Guy
