use DatabaseMetaData class from package java.sql or try this statement:
 
select * from user_columns
 
select * from user_tables
 
select * from user_indexes
 
you see its like oracle.

Can anyone tell me how I could get a list of tables and columns for each table out of sap db using sql studio?
