I am porting my data base (7.4) from win2000 to linux red hat 9
after I have done a full back up of the data base.
when restoring in linux box (using webdbm and from win machine using gui
dbm) I have the folwing error message
-24994 runtime environment error (service_connect).
I checked the mailing list for the same problem and fixed some write
permissions for sapdb group to allow write as described in an article of
august 2001 but without results.

some one have an idea how to solve the problem,
this is urgent because I have upgraded my win2000 to redhat 9
