Hi,
first, if your problem is related to an SAP R/3 system , you should
usually open an OSS message, as this mailing list is on the open-source
flavour of SAP DB/Max DB.
Second, if the database does not start the knldiag usually shows more
details on what went wrong (see http://sapdb.2scale.net/moin.cgi/knldiag
on where to find it).
Anyway, if you are a SAP customer, an OSS message is usually the right
way to get help.
