FYI, the handling of connect strings is now (since several months)
case sensitive. Old driver automatically upper UID/PWD in the connect
string which could make difficulties when reusing a returned
connect string. Moreover generic tools, which can not take this
into account, wouldn't be able to handle case sensitiv UID/PWD.
