But we could look into the source code to see when this error code is written to the event log. In this case, it has something to do with the Windows Cluster environment, which shouldn't be relevant for you anyway.

There exist four versions of the kernel (the optimized one and three variants for different debugging purposes). They can't be started if they they aren't registered. But as the optimized kernel.exe is the only one you'd want to start automatically, we're thinking of something to register the other ones only when they are actually started.
