>From MySQL MaxDB 7.5 manual:
Setting up a hot standby system with MaxDB has been tested for the following
cluster solution: IBM High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing for AIX
clustering software.
and
The following memory storage systems fulfil these requirements and support
the set up of a hot standby system with MaxDB: EMC Symmetrix, IBM
TotalStorage Enterprise Storage Server (ESS), IBM TotalStorage SAN Volume
Controller (SVC).
Since you need a cluster software, wich is quite expensive, i am searching
too for a failover solution example, but in Standby Database configuration,
not Hot Standby.

Hi all
Does somebody already have experience with the MAXDB Failover Database?
I tried to setup a Standby Database, but till now without success.
Perhaps someone documented his or her installation and could send it to
me.
Thanks in advance
