Re: TO COPY A DATABASE FROM A SERVER TO ANOTHER ONE.

This is roughly what I did (using SAB-DB 7.4.03)

1) make a full DATA backup on server1 (DATA1)
2) copy the dump-file to server2
3) create a new database on server2 using the installation wizard in the
DBMGUI and choose 'restore parameters from a backup medium'
4) when the wizard wants to restore the backup medium (DATA1) press
    cancel
5) do a full DATA backup on server2 onto a new medium (DATA2) in order
to create an entry point for the backup history (this seems to be a
    bug in the DBMGUI)
6) restore the medium DATA1
7) set the database in online mode.
8) done
