Hi,

as of today there are Debian packages of MaxDB available for ia64 in
unstable.

Due to lack of hardware I could not verify that the packages are
actually working and therefore would welcome any positive and negative
feedback.

Although there are no official binary packages available for other
architectures yet the packages' sources (maxdb-buildtools and maxdb)
should also compile without any changes on amd64.
In principle even powerpc and s390 architectures should compile although
this requires patching of the source packages' control files and has not
been tested.
