Hi,
I'm having problems creating a database on raw devices. MaxDB is running
on a dual Opteron machine with Debian GNU/Linux "Sarge" for amd64.
I've tried to use /dev/sd?? and /dev/raw/raw? devices.
The database is installed with the Database Manager running under
Windows XP on another machine. Just when the initial configuration is
complete, and MaxDB is activating the database instance, it bombs out
with a "shutdown of database occured [db_activate dba, dba]" error.
A log-file from an unsuccessful session is attached.
How do I proceed?
Jarle
