Now that I got the Synchronization Manager GUI to run, I'm trying to
follow the example document. I got the message server running and I can
get the GUI to connect to it.

I'm having a problem though trying to get the GUI to connect to my MaxDB
database on the same system. After entering the database details, I get
the following error:

    Connecting ...
    java.lang.Exception: ConnectionPool singleton not created.
        at com.sap.sdb.syncMan.tool.ConDataBase.connect(ConDataBase.java:377)
        at com.sap.sdb.syncMan.gui.jface_menu.DBConnectAction$ConnectThread.run(DBConnectAction.java:64)

I tried to connect to a different MaxDB instance on another machine, but
I get the same error. I can connect to both databases using the dbmcli
utility.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
